Curragh coal mine
Report summary
Curragh is a large metallurgical coal exporting mine located near Blackwater in the southern Bowen Basin. Curragh also sells domestic thermal coal to Stanwell power station. Curragh is covered by mine leases ML1879, ML1990, ML 80086, ML80010, ML80011, ML80012 and ML80110. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs.
