Report summary
Garda Tujuh Buana (GTB) is a low-rank thermal coal mine located within Bunyu Island in North Kalimantan. The mine operates under an IUP permit awarded on 12 January 2010. Prior to its IUP status, GTB held an exploitation licence which was awarded on 5 November 2001. The IUP permit is valid until 11 January 2021. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
