Kuzbassrazrezugol coal mines
Report summary
Kuzbassrazrezugol is the second largest producer and exporter of coal in Russia. It operates 11 mines through six subsidiaries, all of which are located in the Kuznetsk Basin (Kuzbass). Kuzbassrazrezugol produces mostly bituminous thermal and PCI coal, over two-thirds of which is exported. It also produces some coking coal for both domestic and export markets. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry-standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
