Young-Davidson gold mine
Report summary
The Young-Davidson property comprises contiguous mineral leases and mining claims across 5,720 hectares, located near the town of Matachewan, approximately 60 km west of Kirkland Lake in northern Ontario. Young Davidson was initially mined as a combined open pit and underground mining operation until June 2014 when open pit mining ceased. Underground ore and stockpiled open pit ore is processed in a 8kt/d carbon-in-leach circuit to produce gold dore.
