Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) operates the Aristanovskoye oil field in southwest Kazakhstan. KNOC acquired an 85% interest in 2009. Aristanovskoye came onstream in 2009 and a production contract was awarded in 2014, enabling exports to begin.In 2023-24, production averaged less than 7,000 b/d.
