Blue Atlantic Pipeline
Report summary
It is anticipated that the Blue Atlantic Transmission System will transport natural gas from offshore Nova Scotia to markets in Eastern Canada and the northeastern United States (primarily the New York/ New Jersey area). The pipeline is to be developed by the Eastern Pipelines Group of the El Paso Corporation. The pipeline will be approximately 1,500 km long and will transport up to 1.0 bcfd of natural gas.
