The Greater Sunrise fields are located approximately 450 kilometres northwest of Darwin. Greater Sunrise consists of two gas/condensate fields, Sunrise and Troubadour. The fields lie across the border of Australia and Timor Leste.Following a lengthy dispute, a permanent maritime border was agreed between the two nations in March 2018, at the UN Law of the Sea convention.
