Irpa
Report summary
The Irpa (formerly Asterix) deepwater gas and condensate field is located in the Norwegian Sea, 80 kilometres west of the Aasta Hansteen area. A final investment decision (FID) was taken in November 2022. Irpa will be developed as a four well subsea tieback to the Aasta Hansteen facility. Gas will be exported via the Polarled pipeline to Nyhamna, where it will enter the Gassled-Langeled system for export to the UK and continental Europe.
