Report summary
Following an industry consultation in Q4 2023, the North Sea Transition Authority has now issued its requirements for cutting North Sea emissions further. Focussing on power generation, flaring and venting and cessation of production for more intensive assets, the rules are about to get tougher for operators. This insight provides our view on what it could mean for the UKCS.
