Woodside makes second deepwater gas discovery in Myanmar
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Myanmar's deepwater is one of the hottest frontier provinces in exploration, and this is the second discovery in as many months. The Thalin discovery is thought to be a new play – compared to the nearby 4 tcf Shwe accumulation – and continues to de-risk the significant exploration potential of the relatively unexplored deepwater basins.
