As executive vice president of Consulting, Chris Shepley is responsible for Wood Mackenzie’s global Consulting practice and the Advisory services. He leads a global team of Consulting professionals working across the Energy, Resources and Financial sectors, advising in the areas of Commercial Strategy, Supply Chain and Energy Transition.
Chris joined Wood Mackenzie in 2010 and has worked in senior leadership positions in the Consulting and Research functions, which has helped him build a deep knowledge of the business. Prior to Wood Mackenzie, Chris held a range of technical and commercial leadership roles in industry and consulting businesses.
He is deeply focused on the purpose of consulting, helping our clients with their most challenging issues, and the positive, transformational impact we have as we deliver our engagements. This focus is reflected in his strong commitment to the personal and professional development of people to create a high-performance environment, and our ability to form enduring and trusted advisor relationships with our clients.
Chris has an MA from the University of Cambridge, and his professional qualifications include being a chartered engineer (CEng), and member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (MIMechE).
