Chris came to Wood Mackenzie in 2010, bringing with him more than 20 years of petrochemicals and energy industry experience. He has worked in a range of engineering and commercial leadership roles internationally, including crude oil trading with ICI and commercial strategy, marketing and sales for Huntsman Petrochemicals’ European Aromatics Business.
In 2004, Chris joined Deloitte where he worked in economic development, and energy industry commercial consulting. Here Chris specialised in strategy and operations improvement for major oil, gas and energy industry clients in the UK and Middle East.
He subsequently moved to Booz Allen Hamilton as Senior Associate within the firm's global energy strategy practice. There he advised clients including BP, Talisman Energy and KPC on projects spanning commercial strategy, digital oilfields, performance and cultural change management, and value realisation from technology.
As a Senior Vice President, Chris leads the global Downstream consulting practice, with overall responsibility for Wood Mackenzie’s solutions and advice to clients in the Refining, Marketing and Chemicals segments.
A Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Chris has an extensive track record delivering large strategy and energy policy projects for some of the downstream industry's leading participants. .
