A senior member of Wood Mackenzie’s consulting team, David has more than 15 years of experience advising clients in the energy sector.
David has developed and led various consulting engagements in the areas of corporate strategy, M&A, valuation, market entry, and transaction support across the upstream, gas and LNG value chain. These include valuation and commercial due diligence work for upstream assets, gas and LNG projects, oilfield services, and upstream/midstream infrastructure throughout Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Russia.
David is a thought leader in the energy sector, a frequent speaker at conferences where he speaks about his extensive experience in upstream strategy and commercial operations. Over the years, he has also developed strategic and commercial roadmaps for global IOCs, NOCs, investment banks, explorers, and service companies.
David was previously the head of upstream consulting for IHS Markit in Asia and started Rystad Energy’s Asia operations. He also worked at the US Department of Commerce as an advisor on petrochemicals and in the UK House of Commons as a parliamentary associate.
