James joined the company in 2015 as a Metals and Mining consultant in our London office. Prior to Wood Mackenzie, he spent the last 10 years in commercial, technical and financial advisory roles.
James specialises in market entry, opportunity identification and sales strategy and has completed consultancy projects on several major transactions and project financing engagements.
The battery raw materials supply chain has been a major focus for James. He developed a lithium multi-client study that identifies risks and opportunities for consumers and producers in the e-mobility and energy storage industries. The study applies our in-house methodology to provide unparalleled depth on lithium production costs.
