Lynda has worn many hats during her tenure at Wood Mackenzie. After initially coming to the business in 1991 as a research analyst, she also worked in Consulting before taking up a senior client management position.
Despite initial reservations about moving away from analytics, Lynda enjoyed the variety and client-centric nature of sales and relocated to Houston to become part of the Account Management Team. She soon established a reputation for winning new business and growing existing accounts, even securing Wood Mackenzie’s first £1 million contract.
In 2004, Lynda opened a new office in New York City and developed a strategy to penetrate the financial sector, successfully increasing sales more than six-fold. Her responsibilities then widened to cover the metals & mining, gas & power and downstream sales teams, providing leadership to 30 people across three continents. Lynda was promoted to Vice Chairman of Sales in 2014, thanks to her unique knowledge of the business and ability to develop senior relationships across Wood Mackenzie’s client base.
Today, Lynda heads up Global Sales and is committed to fostering employee career development and establishing a high-performing team. She is also introducing a dynamic new sales model that will continue to grow the Wood Mackenzie bottom line.
