Mark is responsible for managing the Wood Mackenzie Group P&L, directing on all financial matters for Wood Mackenzie, Verisk Maplecroft and the numerous recent acquisitions across the Group. Working in conjunction with the Controllership Team, he also oversees all new business systems as well as the commercial and financial integration of recent acquisitions. He is focused on the continued delivery of organic growth and identifying further strategic M&A opportunities. In addition to his role leading the Finance function, Mark is also responsible for the Executive Management of Wood Mackenzie’s Power & Renewables business.
Mark completed his Chartered Accountant training in Australia at PwC, going on to become Chief Financial Officer of a $400 million travel operation headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Relocating to London in 2006, Mark spent eight years at Reed Elsevier, working across a variety of financial and business operations in the UK, Americas and Asia Pacific.
As such, Mark has been close to all of the recent acquisitions made by Wood Mackenzie and he brings with him a proven track record in successfully delivering on complex international projects while meeting the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.His extensive leadership experience continues to inform and support our overall business strategy to achieve long-term sustainable growth.
