Meng Xu

Meng is the senior product manager overseeing the development and client relationships of our fiscal offerings. She owns Wood Mackenzie fiscal modelling. She is currently based in London working with a global team of petroleum economists covering fiscal systems in different regions.

Before moving back to UK, Meng was managing Eastern Asia upstream team in Beijing office and provided fiscal expertise for research. She also supported consulting projects for valuation purposes. She was responsible for developing enhanced fiscal models, delivering petroleum economics training and supporting GEM users in Asia Pacific.

Education

Meng joined Wood Mackenzie in 2007 after completing her master's degree in finance and investment at Edinburgh University. She's now completing her studies in Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA).
