Patrick provides insight on strategic and advisory projects throughout the metals and mining sector in the Americas, Asia and worldwide. He is based in our Quito office.
Since joining us in 2014, Patrick has worked on numerous strategic projects including reviewing the copper mining development pathway for a large diversified miner, supporting a three-party cross-border electricity negotiation and assisting with the valuation of an Asian gold mine during a major divestment programme. He is expert in advising on infrastructure ownership, funding approvals for major capital projects and assessing value and risk in metals and mining portfolios.
He has also worked on asset and company benchmarking, operational improvement and organisational redesign, investment negotiation support and a divestment strategy for an ASEAN base metals product.
Patrick was previous a principal commercial advisor at Rio Tinto.
