Sebastian leads our upstream consulting practice in Latin America. Over the past ten years he has directed more than fifty strategic and operational projects with major corporations, national oil companies, governments, and private-equity funds.
Key areas of expertise for Sebastian include building exploration and production strategies and unconventionals strategies, optimising portfolios and evaluating capital productivity. He has also worked on organisational design, business development and mergers and acquisitions, including providing commercial due diligence for upstream, midstream and oil field services transactions. He led the development of an energy sector strategic policy plan for a South American government.
In the past, Sebastian worked at McKinsey & Company, where he contributed to a range of strategic energy projects in oil and gas, gas and power, refining and renewable energy.
