An expert in the energy, metals and mining sector, Shatha has advised governments, NOCs, NGOs, and independents on pricing, master planning and market analysis.
Shatha has developed long-term fuel price reform strategies, natural gas master-plans, socio-economic refining analysis, assessing the impact of changing environmental regulations on fuel oil and intermediate product market dynamics. Experienced in evaluating how unconventional oil developments affect oil prices, she has managed the reorganisation of a sector regulator, reviewed long-term business plans for a metals business, and developed a new business plan for a mining company.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Shatha was a consultant at CRA International. She has worked investment banking and private equity in the United States and the Middle East.
