Tim brings over 25 years of experience serving international companies in the natural gas pipeline, power generation, and electric utility industries. Over his career, he has directed corporate and business unit strategy and growth projects in natural gas, power and renewables for international and national oil companies, including many of the supermajors.
Tim has worked with national oil companies and governments in central and south America on a variety of strategy and energy resource planning issues. This has included developing midstream growth strategies, planning major capital investments, scoping the emergence of renewables in the energy mix, plus merger and acquisition transaction support for North American power and renewables businesses. In all, he has been involved in more than $100 billion of transactions across power generation, electric utilities and natural gas pipelines.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Mr. Bleakley worked for McKinsey & Company for 15 years, where he was a Partner and co-head of the North American Gas & Power Practice.
