Timur is a principal analyst with more than 20 years of experience in chemicals research. He joined Wood Mackenzie’s Chemicals team in 2015, following the acquisition of PCI Group. He started at PCI as a business analyst, responsible for preparing cost models, analysis of price tendencies and market situation in the nylon chain from petrochemical feedstock to fibres and engineering plastics.
Earlier in his career, Timur spent seven years with SIBUR petrochemical company as a leading researcher, responsible for exploring business opportunities and leading in-house and collaborative R&D teams. He participated in feasibility studies, market analysis, IP strategy studies and chemical process evaluations.
