Alana is part of Wood Mackenzie’s Exploration Research team, providing analysis of exploration economics, strategies and industry trends.

Alana began her career as an exploration geologist with Maersk Oil where she worked on North Sea, Gulf of Mexico and Brazil exploration teams. She later joined Murphy Oil as a senior geologist on the West Africa exploration team before moving into the portfolio and planning team. She joined Wood Mackenzie in 2017.
