As research director for battery raw materials, Gavin defines our research agenda and guides the analysis of raw materials markets.
Gavin joined Wood Mackenzie in 2011 as analyst and spent four years covering the iron ore market. He also directed our global metals markets research for three years.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Gavin spent three years with CRU in London, and more recently one year with Steel Business Briefing covering the markets for finished steel and steelmaking raw materials. Before entering the metals world, Gavin spent five years living and working across various parts of East Asia for a shipping and logistics company.
