Vice President, Head of Americas Power and Renewables Consulting
Kara leads Wood Mackenzie’s Americas Power and Renewables Consulting team based in Boston. She brings 12 years of experience in consulting for clients in the energy sector globally. She is passionate about helping clients navigate the complex and interconnected dynamics of the energy transition.
Kara has led engagements in different parts of the energy value chain. She has helped clients across a range of engagements from corporate strategy work and government policy and strategy to scenario development. She has also led the development of a number of new Wood Mackenzie products aimed at expanding capabilities in the energy transition space including development of energy market models (energy demand and supply side of dynamics of Oil, Gas, Coal and Refining) and extending Carbon Benchmarking capabilities.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Kara worked as a strategy consultant for CRA International Marakon, and as an intern at the U.S. Department of Energy Policy and International Affairs team.
