Report summary

Arch successfully emerged from bankruptcy in October 2016 with a cleaner balance sheet and in a healthier coal market. The company sold most of its Western Bituminous assets to Bowie Resources in 2013, and went from the second largest producer in the region to an operator of one mine, West Elk mine near Somerset, Colorado.
