Baruun Noyon Uul (BNU) is owned and operated by Terra Energy, a subsidiary of Australia listed Terracom Resources under mining license number MV-00017162 covering 174 square kilometers. It is located in Noyon Soum, South Gobi province in Southern Mongolia; 80 kms east of MAK's Nariin Sukhait mine and about 140 kms away from Ceke border with China. The Hard Coking Coal product from the BNU mine is low sulphur and ash, with good coking properties.
