Report summary
The Canaverales project will be a surface mine using truck-and-shovel methods. The mine will produce a low-sulphur thermal coal that will be exported to the seaborne market. In September 2016, Yildirim finalised the purchase of all CCX's assets in Colombia along with a transportation project. We expect Yildirim to bring Canaverales online just in 2026 with a small production level.
