Cloud Peak - Powder River Basin coal mines

Cloud Peak - Powder River Basin coal mines

Report summary

We expect that Cloud Peak's mines will decrease production slightly year-on-year from 58.4 Mst in 2016 to 57.5 Mst in 2017, as a result of continued high stockpiles at power plants.  We forecast that production going forward will be flat to slightly declining as low natural gas prices will keep pressure on PRB shipments.
