Coal Company Report – NTEC: Powder River Basin – June 2021

Report summary

Navajo Transitional Energy Company (NTEC) is the only major US coal producer focused exclusively on the Powder River Basin. The company owns and operates three surface coal mines and two projects, all in the PRB. While not the largest PRB producer by tonnage, NTEC maintains a strong focus on exports.
