Henan Dayou Energy (hereinafter referred to as Dayou) is a state-controlled company. It is a second-tier subsidiary of Henan Energy and Chemical Industry Group, which operates coal-mining businesses in Henan, Guizhou, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Qinghai and Anhui. Dayou currently operates in Henan. The company also holds reserves in Xinjiang. Dayou produces both thermal and metallurgical coal. We expect Dayou’s output to remain flat at 12 Mt in 2023 at an average total cash cost of RMB414.9/t.
