Report summary
New Acland Stage 3 Extension is a surface coal project, located 150 kilometres west of Brisbane in the Darling Downs region of Queensland (QLD), producing thermal coal predominantly for the export market. New Acland Stage 3 Extension will be performed within Mining Lease Application 50232 and involves the extension and operation of the existing New Acland mine. The proposed extension and expansion of the mine under MLA50232 will adjoin the southern and western boundaries of the current mining lease.
