Report summary

US thermal spot prices remain stable so far as the summer peak months approach. CAPP coal spot prices show a little movement as they respond to international thermal coal prices but outside of that domestic spot prices in the other basins remain relatively flat. With natural gas prices hovering around US$3.00/mmbtu at Henry Hub and ample stockpiles there is little in the way of fundamentals to drive a change in spot prices.
