Siberian Anthracite coal mines

Report summary

Siberian Anthracite operates four surface mines and two processing plants in the Novosibirsk region of Russia.The company produces ultra high grade anthracite coal with high carbon content and low sulphur, volatile matter and ash content, which is mainly used in steel and ferroalloy production, where it can be used as a partial substitute for coke or PCI coal.  Over 65% of the coal produced is exported.
