Report summary

Mexico needs to increase oil production now more than ever as oil production has dropped almost 10% since the reform was approved. Even if the reform does not increase oil production, Mexico will remain as net oil exporter. As the domestic market turns to gas, additional oil will be available for export. With the start of Los Ramones pipeline,Mexico has now has enough cross border capacity to source all of its domestic demand with imported gas.
