Philippines energy markets outlook 2015 - overview
Report summary
Philippines is one of the top performing economies in Southeast Asia. Energy demand is forecast to increase from 38 Mtoe in 2014 to 69 Mtoe in 2035. Despite having a deregulated energy market, Philippines has struggled to attract investments to expand its energy infrastructure. The government looks to review some of its previous policies, critical decisions are awaited so that the country can ensure a secure and diversified supply mix over the longer term.
