Global supply is forecast to grow to 4.8 tcm by 2035. Africa and Oceania are the fastest growing regions within that period, growing at a compound average growth rate (CAGR) of 3.3% and 3.9% respectively. Through our forecast, North America and Russia and the Caspian will remain as the top two producing regions. Gas supply from North America will be fuelled by the growth of unconventional gas in the USA. Whilst supply from Russia and the Caspian will be supported by a combination of large legacy gas fields in Russia and further phases of development of Turkmenistan's South Iolotan gas field.
