Report summary

Algeria is a major gas supplier (both pipe and LNG) to the European market. Since 2008, Algerian exports have fallen year-on-year as upstream production has declined and domestic gas demand has soared. Algeria must attract greater foreign investment for its upstream sector in order to develop new gas supply and maintain export availability.
