Report summary

Qatar is currently the world's largest exporter of LNG with a nominal production capacity of 77.2 mmtpa (103 bcm/year). LNG production is expected to be around this level in 2014 sales have dropped 1.5 million tons below the 2013 level due to weak LNG spot market demand. Future production growth is expected to be marginal and driven by price opportunities until the end of this decade.
