Global gas markets long-term supply outlook - Qatar - H2 2016

Report summary

Qatar is the world's largest producer and exporter of LNG, although this position is coming under threat. In 2015, Qatar has exported above its nominal liquefaction capacity, as a result of facility improvements which have increased efficiency. We forecast LNG output to be 108 bcm this year, 33% of global supply, and piped exports to middle east markets to be 22.5 bcm, 40% of middle eastern piped gas supply.
