Indonesia LNG long-term outlook H2 2020
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
LNG demand fell by 36% in 2020, reversing growth in the past two years and bringing LNG demand close to 2017 level. Unlike its neighbouring countries, Indonesia prioritised its domestic pipeline production during a period of low gas demand in 2020. However, we expect LNG demand to start slight recovery throughout the decade to replace domestic gas production. Stronger growth will start in 2030 onwards, supported by the power sector as new-build coal faces challenges.
