Italy gas markets long-term outlook H2 2016

Italy gas markets long-term outlook H2 2016

Report summary

Following a number of high profile contract renegotiations towards the end of 2016, many gas supply contracts in Italy will be more closely aligned with hub prices in future.  ENI announced that four of its long term contracts had been successfully renegotiated so that around 90% of its supply portfolio now has "hub related" prices, suggesting that hub pricing now forms the price basis for most of its contracts.
