Report summary

LNG regas terminals in NW Europe have had a very quiet winter as higher price in Asia has attracted cargoes east but they look set to enjoy a far busier summer. The markets of Asia and the Middle East can no longer keep absorbing all of the huge wave of new LNG supply and prices will come under further pressure. LNG imports into NW Europe are forecast to almost double the levels of last summer and then double again for the summer of 2018 with the risk for Asian LNG prices to trade at discount to Europe.
