Commodity Market Report
North America gas weekly update: much ado about nothing?
Report summary
Prices may have shrugged off the extreme cold outbreak last week, but the record withdrawals will leave an imprint on North America gas markets as we enter the summer injection season. Henry Hub gas prices will have to rise to incentivize greater US gas production in order to refill storage before the start of next winter. Luckily it seems as if the great bulk of freeze-off recovery is already behind us.
