Singapore is making progress towards realising its regional hub ambitions. New policy changes to Singapore's gas and LNG market were announced by the Minister of Trade and Industry on 14 February 2017. Singapore's regulator, the Energy Market Authority (EMA), will allow new piped gas imports on a case-by-case basis and third-party spot LNG imports beginning in H2 2017 for up to 10% of the total gas imports in Singapore. In addition, a new LNG truck-loading facility at Singapore LNG was launched in April 2017. This will enable bunkering and small-scale LNG.
