Vietnam gas markets long-term summary H2 2015

Report summary

The development of indigenous gas resource looked optimistic in 2015 with the completion of Phase 1 of the Nam Con Son 2 pipeline to deliver gas from the offshore basin to industrial users on land in Southeast Vietnam. Further, renationalisation of Block B and Ca Rong Do coming close to FID may give optimism to the development of domestic gas supply. Timely development of the upstream projects is much needed to alleviate Vietnam's gas supply constraints.
