Initial stages (2011-2012)The government of Jordan tendered a feasibility study in 2011 for an LNG regasification terminal at Aqaba, in the south of the country. Regasification capacity was initially planned to be around 100 mmcfd (0.75 mmtpa) and intended to diversify supply from the Arab Gas Pipeline (AGP) rather than replacing it.
