Brazil has three operational LNG import terminals: Pecém, Bahia Regasification Terminal (TRBA Salvador), and Baía de Guanabara, all of which are FSRUs on lease by Petrobras from Golar LNG and Excelerate Energy. Additional regas projects have been announced through the years as companies sought to access the international gas market and serve the fast-growing Brazilian demand.
