China LNG long-term outlook 2015
Loading current market price
Report summary
China's appetite for LNG has stalled, with imports in Q1 2015 falling in comparison to the same period in 2014. The reasons behind this are diverse, with many being cyclical in nature. As such, we continue to expect demand to recover and to grow strongly over the next decade. However, in the short-term at least it seems certain that LNG demand will continue to face headwinds as supply increases and the pace of overall gas demand growth remains sluggish.
