Report summary
The Ennore regas terminal commissioned on 6 March 2019. This makes it the first regas terminal to operate on India's east coast. The 5 mmtpa capacity project will be India's fifth and Indian Oil Corporation's first terminal. This will be a major boost to Indian Oil's ambitious LNG plans. Indian Oil is India's largest refiner and retailer. Ennore will encourage gas consumption in south east India, particularly the Manali industrial region.
