Report summary
TTF tumbles as European storage injections stay strong, with elevated LNG send-out showing no signs of waning TTF dropped to as low as $41 intraday on Thursday, down from $51.5 a week ago. Steadily high European LNG send-out as well as higher production and net piped flows this week outweighed the seasonal increase in demand. Europe’s gas storage was about 92% this week, compared to the five-year average of 88% for this time of year. Storage saw an approximately 213 mcm/d net injection, almost 107 mcm/d above the 5-year average of 111 mcm/d for this time of year.
